The research referred to doesn't seem to address exactly what has concerned me since the issue first came to my mind in the 1970's, but it's a start. A good start.<br /><br />Bluntly; the idea that we could extract from the environment sufficient energy to power out civilization without it having an effect on the natural cycles that energy was effecting before we diverted it HAS to be nonsense.
